About Caucasus Complex
On March 26, 2003, Romik, Vahe, and Vigen Badalyan co-founded the "Badalyan Brothers" company, beginning with the "Caucasus" Tavern. In 2012, the "Caucasus" restaurant complex and five-star hotel were opened. The founders' vision for the "Caucasus" restaurant complex was to honor and properly present the hospitality traditions and culinary rituals passed down through the centuries, as well as the renowned and forgotten dishes of the rich Caucasian cuisine.
The unique flavor of the appetizers and dishes here is based on traditional Caucasian recipes, using only high-quality ingredients and spices. However, as part of the hospitality industry, the "Caucasus" restaurant and hotel complex offers more than just exceptional service. It is also dedicated to introducing foreign guests to the rich history of Armenia, while reminding and inspiring locals about the glorious journey of their ancestors.
To achieve this goal, the "Caucasus" restaurant complex includes halls named after the four royal dynasties of Armenia. Each hall embodies the spirit of its era, decorated with paintings and murals that represent the historical period. To create a harmonious atmosphere and color palette, only natural building materials have been used: stone, gravel, brick, clay, iron, wood, canvas, reeds, and straw. The chandeliers, candelabras, grills, and even the door handles are crafted by blacksmiths.
One could say that "Caucasus" is a small piece of history – a vibrant and fascinating story about the Armenian people, their creative spirit, lifestyle, glorious culture, military prowess, and craftsmanship.
ABOUT HOTEL
The "Caucasus" Hotel began its welcoming operations on July 2, 2014. It is located 17 km from Zvartnots International Airport and just a 15-minute drive from the center of Yerevan.
Due to its geographical location, the Caucasus Hotel offers expansive views to its guests, featuring Armenia's highest peak, Mount Aragats, at 4090 meters, on one side, and the biblical Mount Ararat, with an elevation of 5165 meters, on the other.
The hotel complex includes 72 uniquely designed rooms, including standard rooms, standard rooms with balconies, luxury rooms, king suites, and family rooms, all of which ensure complete comfort for our guests’ stay.
The hotel offers a variety of amenities to make your stay more active and memorable, including a restaurant (breakfast hall), an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool, a gym, a spa area with massage and beauty salons, and a steam room (steam bath, Finnish sauna, ice room). The complex also features a game room with billiards, darts, air hockey, football, and a children’s playground. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, and we also offer spacious and secure parking facilities.

The founders of the "Caucasus" Tavern aimed to honor and properly present the hospitality traditions and customs of our ancestors, which have been cherished for centuries, along with both famous and forgotten appetizers and dishes from the rich Caucasian cuisine.
The secret to the unique flavors of the appetizers and dishes at the "Caucasus" inn is simple: they are prepared using traditional Caucasian recipes by Armenian and Georgian master chefs, using only fresh, locally sourced meats, and high-quality Armenian and Georgian food products and spices.
